Beachy Wedding Album (Order)

Today I 'd like to share with you ladies, an order I finished for a 'Beach/Wedding' Album. I used several collections to create this special album combining beach papers and embellishments along with wedding papers and wedding elements. I wanted to make sure there was plenty of space for photos and journaling, as I'm sure there will be plenty of that to safely store for such a joyful event.

The cover of the album depicts a beautiful ocean with rolling waves. This 8x8 album also is embellished on the cover with dimensional elements such as starfish, ribbons, shells and a metal dragonfly. The paper on the cover is also a beautiful sparkly representation of the beach.

The main spine shows several ribbons that have been used throughout the album. There is also a big beautiful golden heart with a cupid and wings to watch over this keepsake.

The back of the album continues with the wave. I also have my "handmade by" stamp on the back which I adhere to every creation/project I make.

A close up of the embellishments on the front cover. The seashell is fancied up with glitter and sparkles nicely tying it together with the sparkly pattern paper.

Album fully opened.

The inside front cover has a belly band and a large stop pocket at the bottom. Inside the band are several mats/tags, perfect for photos.

Inside the front cover belly band you will find a flip booklet along with 3 mats/tags.

Open the flip booklet and there are pages to journal on or add photos.

Page 1 decorated with a bride and groom. These two flaps are held in place with the small magnetic tab on the front. A pretty blue sheer ribbon adorns the left flap.

Open both flaps and  inside is a large area to put photos. There is also a pretty wedding sentiment card that is also a flip up and once opened, would be a perfect place to journal.

Flip it up and journaling can be written there and remain 'private' once the flap is lowered.

All pages have top loaded extra large mats/tags with ribbon pulls. So much space for photos and or journaling.

Pages 2 & 3. Page 2 has 3 'wave' pockets that each hold a mat/tag. On each mat/tag there is a sweet wedding sentiment, on the back of each one is open for a photos or journaling. A pretty aqua ribbon sets off the page nicely.

A closer look of page 2.

These are the pretty mats/tags out of their wave pockets.

Page 3 This is an inter-active page that has a magnetic flap adorned with a pretty ribbon that also holds 2 charms. A swan and a key. You can also see the pocket which has a dimensional embellishment.

A close up of the swans and key hanging from the ribbon.

Flap opened to show the inside of page 3 and the mats/tags tucked inside the bottom pocket. Pretty beachy paper is full of seashells.

Mats/tags from inside that pocket.

Pages 4 & 5. Again, inter-actives, I love adding them I think it makes an album even more exciting and not boring.

Page 4 shows a ribbon adorned magnetic flap. Underneath you can see there is a large sentiment tag with a pretty bouquet.

Flap opened and there is a pocket on the inside of that flap which holds a nice journaling tag. You can see the large sentiment tag secured on the main page.

Page 5 holds a large handmade envelope decorated with a dimensional wedding element. A pretty sheer ribbon also serves a purpose, as the envelope flap can be opened by lifting it from behind the ribbon and the tip from behind the embellishment.

Envelope opened to show the large sentiment card inside. The card is matted and is plain on the back so a note could be written to the bride and groom and remain 'private' for only their eyes.

The giant top pull mat/tag pulled part way out to show.

Pages 6 &7. More moveable pieces on these pages.

Page 6 has a pretty lacey punched flap tied up in a sweet sheer ribbon. A bottom sentiment stop holds 2 narrow sentiment sticks.

Flap flipped open and there is a beautiful full page with a 'just married' on the license plate of the car. On the back of the flap is a pocket which holds 3 tags/mats.

Page 7. This page has a double bottom corner pocket decorated with a nice size starfish and ribbon. Inside the pockets re a tag/mat and a booklet.

The booklet and mat/tag from the pockets. The main page paper has the old adage "Some Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue".

The booklet has pages that can be used for either pictures and or journaling.

Pages 8 & 9. Fun fun fun. Page 8 has some cute starfish living on that side cut pocket.

A better look at page 8 and the side cut pocket embellished with starfish and ribbon.

The 2 good sized mats/tags from the corner cut pocket are perfect for photos and or journaling.

Page 9 has a top flap tied with ribbon.

Flip that flap and under it you find a wave cut pocket that holds 2 generous size sentiment mats/tags. The wave pocket is decorated with a pretty ribbon and a small 'sand heart'.

The sentiment mats/tags from the wave pocket. Gotta' love them!

Pages 10 & 11. Yes, yes, yes, more inter-actives. I love putting several in my albums! Page 10 has a top lift flap which is adorned with a sheer blue ribbon and an awesome jeweled dragonfly. More hides beneath that flap.

Close up of Page 10. Ocean foam on a sandy beach are the papers for this page.

A close up of the blue jeweled dragonfly...isn't he pretty!

This isn't just one flap...........but this is the first flap opened..

Second flap opened, soothing pretty seagulls adorn the paper. Under those flaps is a small wavy bottom pocket/stop which holds 2 sentiment mats/tags.

The 2 mats/tags from that page pocket.

Page 11. Love this sentiment on the bottom lacey cut pocket. Sheer blue ribbon sets off the base page and there are 3 large mats/tags inside that pocket.

The 3 large mats/tags from that lacey pocket. One is adorned with a dimensional pretty heart.

Page 12 and the inside of the back cover. Yes my friends, my albums wouldn't be complete without a waterfall. This one will hold 12  4x6 photos! Untie the ribbon to flip through them easily.

A closer look at one of my favorite techniques, the waterfall. How perfect to be able to attach 12 photos in such a small space and have it look so pretty as well. Perfect!

The inside of the back cover has a stationary tri-fold card with a bride and groom silhouette and a bow tied ribbon to keep it closed.

Opening the top flap of the tri-fold and it reveals a pocket with a pretty journaling tag inside .

Opened all the way, what a perfect place to either add more photos or write a nice note to the newlyweds, or for the bride to journal about her special day and have it be private once closed and tied back with the ribbon.

The inside of the right spine has a bottom sentiment stop which holds a tag/mat tied up in a ribbon. The inside of the front flap has a pretty ribbon on top of the sandy paper.

I hope you all enjoyed my album, I love creating one of a kind creations. How exciting to see how it will turn out, as I create as I go along and do my best to make it a special keepsake. Sometimes I will include a technique or a deconstructed version of it reworked to make it a bit different from the original. At any rate, I hope everyone enjoys and can appreciate my work. I love doing special orders and have been lucky to have gotten several. I will continue to do them as long as they continue to come in. Please stop back by soon, as I will have more photos of more creations shortly. Thanks for taking your time to view my blog, I truly appreciate it!

Triplets Baby Album (Order)

This album I made a bit different, as there is a surprise element in this book that I thought would be needed. It is at the end, so we will go through the other pages first. This album is for a lady that had triplet baby girls. WOW! Isn't that so cool!! I wanted to definitely make sure there was plenty of places for photos and lots of journaling. On the cover, I thought the 'ABC x 3' was so appropriate, and it was well received. The letters are dimensional and the 3 has been matted and popped up to accent that number. I used wide pink polka dot ribbon as the closure.

The tie closure

The spine. It's a very wide one for this album, as I needed the extra large spine space. A few of the ribbons that were used in the album tied up in cute bows and also holds a jeweled giraffe. The lady that ordered the album only said she would like animals as the theme.

A little closer look at that adorable bejeweled giraffe.

Inside cover and page 1. I left the inside cover plain except for the patterned paper I used for all the inside of the cover. Page 1 has a handmade large envelope with a large mat/tag inside.

Page 1. The envelope flap is held closed by the stationary ribbon. Just slip the flap out from under the ribbon and it is open to show the large mat/tag inside. The paper is so cute, it's a sparkly fluffy cloud pattern so I thought I would also add a 'fluffy' sheep to dress up the envelope a little more.

Flap back in place under the ribbon. There is a huge top load mat/tag in each and every page. I wanted to show one slid out a ways. Perfect for pictures and or journaling.

Pages 2 & 3. Lots of inter-action here.

Page 2. A pretty pull bow on the first flap..

Flap opened and it shows a corner bottom pocket which holds a large tag booklet (which I forgot to take a photo of).

A closer look at that pocket flap with the large tag booklet adorned by a cute white ribbon.

Pocket flap open exposes the main page which has a nice green ribbon with 2 bottom stops. Those stops hold 2 nice size tags/mats.

A better look at those 2 tags/mats. The ribbon is divided in half with a dimensional zebra for good measure which also goes with the pattern paper and the paper on the bottom stops.

Page 3. Note on all the pages the pink polka dot ribbon on the tops..those are the pulls for the giant top load mats/tags. On this page there are 2 pretty pockets. Each hold very useful mats/tags. The back pocket holds a large tag booklet and the front pocket decorated with a pretty pink ribbon holds 3 mats/tags.

Pages 4 & 5. Page 4 has a magnetic flap that holds a large mat/tag. On the flap is a ribbon with 3 hearts (for the triplets), each one says It's a girl. Page 5 I just love! This is a cool idea I think, It's a 'file' with a magnetic closure that holds several photo mats.

A closer look at page 4 with the hearts on the ribbon.

Open the flap and underneath is a pretty large booklet. It is held securely with the magnetic flap.

A closer look at the booklet with a popped up sentiment that says "You are my sunshine".

Page 5. This is just too cool. This is a stationary file, once the small magnetic flap is opened, you can remove several pink matted photo mats. This file has a 1/4" gusset so it will hold a lot of photos!! The ribbon can remain tied or untied either way to open the file.

Small flap opened and some of the photo mats I pulled up to show. These mats will accommodate 4x6 photos. I do my best to make sure the albums will hold that popular photo size.

Pages 6 & 7. Page 6 has one of my all time favorites a "Waterfall". This one will hold 15  4x6 photos! This album is set up to hold a ton of pictures and journaling, but with 3 babies it is going to be needed. Page 7 is a bottom corner pocket I used a decorative punch on. I also used that pretty punch on the mats/tags. These are large mats/tags.

Closer look of the waterfall. Gosh, I just love them. So much real estate in such a small space.

Page 7 up close. A cute dimensional lion watches over the photo mats. I put 3 mats along with the number 3 on this page.

See how large these mats are? Perfect to hold those 4x6 pictures and journal your heart out on the backs.

Pages 8 & 9. Inter-actives on both. Page 8 has a bottom flap that folds down... page 9 has a top flap that folds up.

Page 8 up close. The flap is adorned by pearls and a cute little alligator.

The flap folded down shows a pocket which holds a pretty pink booklet.

Here's that booklet up close.

Page 9 showing it's top flap with a ribbon and silver ducky.

Upper flap opened and on it has a pocket with a sweet little mat/tag. The base page has a bottom corner pocket with another booklet held inside. A dimensional giraffe lives at the bottom of the page and matches the ones on the patterned paper.

Pages 10 & 11. These two pages hold quite a bit.

Page 10 shows two rounded pockets. Inside those pockets are mats/tags. A pretty colorful ribbon decorates the page.

Here are the mats/tags that are being held in those 2 rounded pockets. The 3 large ones of course fit nicely in the large rounded pocket and the smaller ones fit perfectly inside the smaller round pocket.

Page 11. This page has 3 side flaps that are also 'numbered' as such. Pretty pearl numbers are on each flap. Ample space for photos and or journaling.

Flap 1 opens to show #2. Again, cute pearl number 2 rests on that flap.

Flap 2 opened and there is #3. Pearled number stands out nicely.

Flap #3 opens to show a large mat/tag adorned with a pretty ribbon. Standard photos will fit nicely on this mat and pages.

Page 12 & inside back cover.

Page 12. This page has a frilly belly band which holds a frilly booklet. At the bottom of the page you will find a pocket that holds two nice mats/tags. Ribbons and a sweet little elephant complete the page.

These are the items from the belly band and pocket.

THIS is the surprise! On the inside back cover I constructed an accordion file folder from chipboard. Inside are 3 pocket files with 'name tabs' so each baby can have her own. The magnetic flap is decked out in a polka dot ribbon.

Open that magnetic flap and pull the front cover open and inside you will find the 3 accordion files. Inside momentoes can be placed (such as the babies hospital bands, hospital pics and anything else mom would like to save). These are 6x6 file pockets, so they will hold several items.

A look inside. The name tabs are in place on a file mat in each folder. Notes, descriptions of the momentoes or just journaling can be recorded on the mats. When finished, the flap will snap closed with its magnet.

So, you see why I had to make the spine larger.... to hold that accordion file folder. I suggested to the buyer to store it standing up with that file folder, so it wouldn't stress out the last page in the album. She was super happy with the album (so much so she ordered another album with another theme), which makes me very happy! I love knowing my creations make folks happy! Makes me day every time.

Please stop back again, as I have more creations I will be posting just as soon as they receive them. I welcome any and all comments, so feel free my friends. Again, thanks for taking your time to check out my creations and my blog, I appreciate it.
