File Box Project

Today I am sharing my DT project for Country Craft Creations! I am sharing some pics, and will upload a video tomorrow. This project is the File Box ....I used Tamra Kilgore-Merrill tutorial and love how it turned out. I am using Bo Bunny Country Journal and must say, the quality of the paper collection is fantastic! The paper weight is perfect and the graphics are so rich and colorful. Tamra carries this line ..... love it! The File Box is so versatile, it can be used for photos, bills, notes or how about using it to store your greeting cards! I used G45's month stamps and since there was 12 file folders it worked out perfect. On each mat/card that each month has, you could record the birthdays, anniversaries, etc. and store those cards in that file ready to send......how's that for a great idea and a pretty place to put them!!!

I love this paper collection, it's such a pretty collection. The flap is magnetized with 2 large magnets which keeps it closed nicely. I embellished the flap with a pretty multi-color ribbon with a delicate flower pattern and added some silver filigree corners. The silver fancy butterfly doesn't need to be glued down, as it stays nice with the magnets under it. A pretty rolled flower and wire scrolls finish off the design.

A little 'table-scape'.

The mats/tags in each pocket has a pretty stamped month attached to it. I think my idea of using it to write on the tags birthdays, anniversaries, etc and then storing the appropriate cards in those roomy files is a perfect way to keep them organized and it looks so darn cool!

This adorable file box is so roomy! The files are constructed accordion style, which allows a ton of room in each file. What a fun useful project.

The tags/mats are large and will accommodate pictures, journaling, notes, lists.......possibilities are endless.

I loved this project and the collection I used. This was an easy project to do and Tamra's tutorial was super easy to follow. I will be posting a video soon of the completed File Box, so check back often.

8x8 Baby Girl Album (special order)

I'd like to share with you  a special order I just finished and delivered. I really enjoyed doing this album and incorporated the Pinks, Grays and Purples as requested.

Cover of Baby Girl Album with side magnetic closure

Spine. I inserted a purple ribbon under the  hinges and made sure it was attached securely to tie on the side of the spine.

Inside the front cover and first page. I fussy cut the elephants and also permanently attached a nine page mini tied up with a sweet purple ribbon to the inside cover. The first page I again fussy cut an adorable elephant and once the magnetic lacey flap is opened it shows some cute tags/mats. A pretty flower adorns the page and gives it some 'pop'.

4x6 DT mini album using Bo Bunny Garden Journal Collection

Front cover. I made the flowers using the paper collection. The adorable tags are from the sticker sheet I matted with cream colored cardstock. Metal butterfly holds the tags in place. Ribbon (seam binding) was dyed using Marion Smiths Color Lab.

I punched a hole in the spine and attached a silver large eyelet. From that I threaded a piece of chain through and used larger jump rings to keep in secured inside as well as using the outer one to attach the charm. The silver birdhouse with the bird and chain flourish seemed to be the perfect embellishment for this mini.

On the inside cover lives another silver metal butterfly. I used my 'notebook punch' throughout the book since some of the tags in the collection had that along the side. Each page has a flap that has a magnet so it will help to keep everything neatly inside the page.

Flap open to show the beautiful floral paper!

Each page holds a side load large tag/mat with a ribbon pull. I made the pulls graduate down the sides for easy access. Each pages also has a 'postcard' pocket that holds 2 sweet little tags/mats.

Next page. The graphic and papers in this collection are beautiful and so springtime!!

All the interactives

Sooooooo pretty!

All the inserts for these pages

Springtime for sure!

It does have a large tag/mat side pull...I forgot to pull it out for the picture

Actually, I didn't forget that tag for the picture

Florals galore! So springtime!

Aren't these prints fabulous!

Interactives

Last page and the side waterfall on the back inside cover

Loved working with this paper collection, so easy to use!

I used the notebook punch for the edges of the side waterfall so it coordinated with many of the other interactive designs.
