Design Team Project using the Authentique Heroic Collection
I created a waterfall album using this fabulous collection that is in the portrait format rather than the landscape typical format. This design team project was for Country Craft Creations and was a sheer pleasure to do. The Authentique Heroic Collection was a delight to work with and so easy to use. This collection works for any branch of the service as well as Independence Day celebrations and other patriotic functions, so it's extremely versatile.
The album is held closed using the magnetized flap at the bottom. I embellished the flap using the quote from Harry S. Truman that can be found on the heading of the papers and also on the inside of the 6x6 paper pad which I fussy cut and matted to use as a booklet on the cover.
The booklet is also has a magnetic closure to keep everything inside nice and secure. Inside there is a bottom stop that holds a matted cut a part. So many very cool cut a parts in this collection that are perfect for photo mats and/or journaling.
The album fully opened and expanded. Aren't the colors and graphics extraordinary in this collection!

Each page is the same in the set up, but each page shows differently because of the wonderful graphics and stickers.
As you can see, the waterfall pages are loaded with inter-actives and offer tons of photo options as well as journaling.
The last page in the album is a 'rolled pocket' page that holds several matted cut a parts as well as many others if so desired.
Inside the back cover there is a bottom matted pocket that holds yet more matted cut a parts.
On the back side of each page you will find a belly band that holds a booklet made from cardstock and more of the large cut a parts in the collection. I also used stickers to embellish the booklets and belly bands as they are of such a wonderful quality they were easy to incorporate into the project.
So so many photo places and journaling options in this album. The bellybands that hold the large booklets are the perfect places.
That back of the album has a 'hinged' embellishment that stays closed via the red coordinating paperclip.
I can't recommend this collection enough as it's perfect for so many uses. This waterfall album is 5 1/2 X 7 1/2 in size with 6 waterfall pages (12 total counting fronts and backs). What a great coffee table piece this would make to showcase those special pictures.

ReplyDeleteIs there a kit for this with this collection or does Tammy sell the whole kit and kaboodle for one price, or do you have to buy everything she offers in this line??? Again, I have so many photos of my Dad during WWII I just think this smaller project would be doable for me! Love your stuff, as you well know!
