Today I'd like to share with you photos and details of this adorable baby girl album I made for a special order. I always ask permission from the recipient if they mind if I post photos after they receive their custom order. This album will be filled with photos of a sweet little girl that is so loved by her grandmother she ordered a custom album to house them in. What a fun fun album to make! This is an 8x8 album with lots of pinks that was requested and fun elements. On the cover I have used some of my large antique wooden blocks I found antiquing. I have my husband slice the parts I want to use from them and then I ink them and attach. I have papered the album with sweet papers that have animals living along the bottom. I have used 4 different collections to make this album and they all flowed nicely. I have put a cute fun frame on the front and embellished around the cover with pretty flowers and tiny butterflies.
This is the spine that I decorated with ribbons and lace bows.
This would be the actual side closure panel. It is magnetized with 3 large magnets to assure a secure closure. I added the 'Cutest Baby Ever' seal accented with more of the lace. The animals continue completely around the album.

The inside cover. I hard mounted a 'Watching You Grow' piece that I matted. A permanent record can be recorded here of each month from 1 to 12 months penning 'weight, length and milestones'. Kept safely and securely in this album what a cool idea to be here and always within reach.
Page 1. This page has a lacey punched magnetic flap that lays over the top of a narrow bottom pocket. The flap is adorned with a frilly pink lace.
Opening the flap exposes the bottom pocket and the matted embellishment I made that reads: 'Our Little Princess'. There are sweet little pink brads I altered to work on this piece.
These are the mats/tags that reside inside the bottom pocket. Sweet sentiments and perfect for photos on the back. I have left an area on the bottom of them to make notes or include dates about the photos.

Pages 2 & 3.
Page 2 is definitely pretty in pink! There is a magnetic lacey cut flap that is embellished with a handmade glittery flower and ribbon.
The flap lifted shows a nice big area for photos.
Page 3. This page is interactive with fun pockets. There are 2 pockets and the bottom one is embellished with a matted sentiment I made that reads: 'Pretty Pretty Princess'. There is a glittery ribbon flower that completes it.
There are 3 good size mats/tags in those pockets. The larger one says 1st Birthday. The other 2 are just a tad smaller but a great size for photos and or journaling.
A large top load mat/tag can be found on the pages.
Pages 4 & 5. Love these!
Page 4. This page has 3 lacey punched pockets. There is a ribbon adorning the bottom pocket. I have (as requested) made a 'Mom & Dad' embellishment that I affixed to the bottom pocket.
There are 5 mats/tags from those pockets in various sizes.

Page 5. I really like this page also. A cute fun print with lots of awesome critters I thought would be perfect to assign this page as 'My Big Brother & Me' (as requested). I made this title and thought it went well with the theme. There is a side pocket and a bottom corner pocket on top of it.

Pages 6 & 7.
Page 6. This page has 2 magnetic flaps tat keep 2 large mats/tags securely in place.
Opening the flaps and the mats/tags can be removed and used to affix good size photos. Again, I have left space at the bottom to document dates or extra notes about the photos. Embellishments help to finish the page simply.

Page 7. This page is quite full and very interactive. The front shown, has the title I made stating: 'Little Miss Diva' and is embellished with a large bobby pin with a sweet hot pink bow on it. This holds a mat/tag that reads 'it's all about ME'. hehehe It was requested as this sweet little one is also growing up to be quite the little 'diva'. :-)
Opening that first page of the booklet and there is another mat/tag. Plenty of space on the spacious pages for larger photos to be placed.
Next page of the booklet has a nice place for yet another large photo and another sentiment mat/tag that reads: 'you are so LOVED'. This is held in place via a colored paperclip.
Flip to the next page and there is another mat/tag on both pages! So much space in this booklet for several photos and or journaling.
Flipping to the last page of the booklet one finds another mat/tag that looks like a camera. Fun, fun, fun! On the base page a sweet background with trees and flowers. There is a pretty pink bow tied around the page.

Pages 8 & 9.
Page 8. This page has a mini waterfall that is actually a 'Holiday' waterfall area. On the top is a tag pocket which holds a mat/tag.

Opened is the first holiday area 'Easter'. There is ample space to add photos of this holiday.
Flip to the next and 'Pumpkin Patch' resides. These are all holidays that were requested to be made space for.
Flip..... and we are at the spaces for Christmas. There is a pretty lacey ribbon at the bottom of the page. Lots of space for photos and or journaling.
Page 9. This page is embellished with a lacey ribbon and a homemade flower. I used papers from the album to make the flower. A piece of ribbon is incorporated behind the flower. Inside the pocket are 2 good size mats/tags.

Pages 10 & 11.
Page 10. This page has a magnetic flap that is embellished with lacey ribbon and lacey punched edges that I used on several areas of pages. There is a pretty vellum heart also adorning the flap.
This is a gatefold page that is so pretty and feminine, perfect for an up and coming sweet little diva! On the first flap of the gatefold, there is a bottom scalloped stop that holds the sweetest sentiment mat/tag about little girls.
Open the other flap to the gatefold and there is a matted embellishment that says: 'That a girl'. Inside on the center page is a stationary flip-able that has a pretty ribbon and tiny vellum heart. There is a large pocket on this page that holds 3 mats/tags that are very nice size. Perfect for photos and or journaling.
These are the large sentiment mats/tags from the roomy pocket. That pocket will hold several photos or momentos.
Page 11. Such a cute page I think. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is the music throughout this page, of course a little ones favorite song early on. This page also has a booklet on the front of it there is a glittery pink polka dot belly band with a sliver of a small antique wooden block that I inked. A sweet lamb is on the block.
Flip open the booklet to more musical pages and plenty of space for photos.
Flip the page yet again and the base page is shown in all it's glory. Adorned by a cute pink ribbon bow on the top, the pretty pages states: 'Love you to the moon'.

Page 12 and the inside of the back cover.
Page 12 has my favorite technique the 'waterfall'. Gotta' love them! So useful and able to house many photos in a small area. Perfect! Untie the lacey ribbon to access the waterfall pages.
The inside of the back cover is decorated with a vertical wide belly band. The band has ribbons and a frilly tulle flower. Behind the belly band you will find 6 mats/tags with sentiments and ready to hold more photos.

Such a fun album to create and I'm so happy she loved it! I always look forward to the next order to challenge myself and create a custom one of a kind keepsake.
