Rainbow 21 Album (order)

What a fun album this was to make! The order was for a birthday album for a young lady who was 21 and loved rainbows, unicorns, stars and lightning. I felt that she should have a bright, colorful and  fun album with lots and lots of spaces for photos and journaling to preserve those special memories and create a keepsake. I love the idea that my creations will become keepsakes, I'm so humbled at that idea and it makes me want to make them as special as I possibly can.
Ok, let me tell you about this fun album. It is a 7x7 with lots of inter-actives and embellishments. This is the front cover. Since she loves rainbows I wanted to make sure to use rainbow colors throughout the album. This birthday album is for her 21st birthday, so I made sure to put that in the cloud. The magnetic flap carries the rainbow extension so not to break up that beautiful colorful rainbow. It also has a pocket at the end of that side of the rainbow that holds a pretty mat/tag. Bright red sheer ribbon sets it off along with the sparkly birthday candles on the pocket.

This is the surprise mat/tag in that pocket with yet another sparkly birthday candle.

Open the flap and the rainbow is complete and in place and the end of the rainbow there has a pretty dimensional present. A peek at the inside of the right spine and flap.

The spine is abundant with rainbow colored ribbon bows. I've also included a pretty charm with another of her favorites... a unicorn.

A close up of the unicorn charm.

The back of the album bears my stamp (and by the way it's a new one I had made recently).

Whatcha' think of the new stamp ladies?

This is the inside of the front cover and page 1.

The inside cover is boasting some more of her favorites... stars! I added a pretty pocket which is decorated with a pretty sheer sparkly yellow ribbon and holds 2 birthday mats/tags. A sparkly golden star is on the base page top right.

These are the nice size mats/tags from that pocket. Great size for photos and or journaling. Pulls are the same sheer yellow ribbon.

Page 1. This page is decorated with rainbows and stars! I also decorated a bottom corner pocket with a rainbow unicorn. Inside the pocket lives 2 mats/tags. Bright red ribbon finishes off the base page.

Pages 2 and 3. Lots going on with these 2 pages.

Page 2. There is quite a bit to this page. On the front of it there is a yellow polka dot flap.

This flap opens to show a large base page for a nice large picture or a couple of smaller ones. The flap is also sized to hold photos.

Open the base page and there are mats and tags inside pockets and stops! A balloon saying "party" floats above the birthday cake pocket on the left. Rainbow paper keeps this page bright and fun! Opposite there is a stop with a larger mat/tag.

A better look at that opened flap and the embellishments.

This is the opposite side of the page still showing the large mat/tag held in the Happy Birthday stop.

Very nice size mat/tag from the stop/

Open yet another flap on that same page! Look what's under there! Birthday balloons on the main base page with lots of space for photos. On the flap there is a decorated bellyband that holds a multi-fold tag booklet!

Here is the multi-fold tag booklet.

The bellyband is decorated in rainbow unicorns and a metal unicorn.

Page 3 papered in 'stars'. There is a pretty stationary card that a private note could be written to the birthday girl....or she could document her special day in her own words. It is embellished with shiny glass stars. Hidden behind the card is a mat/tag papered in the same pattern and even the pull is the same to keep it hidden.

Here is the hidden mat/tag which is nice size. Open the card and there is another pretty sparkly birthday candle.

Everything back in place and the giant top pull mat/tag is shown part way out. ALL pages have top pull very large mat/tags ( forgot to take a picture of the one on page 1..they are all in various rainbow colors).

Pages 4 & 5.

Page 4 is decorated in a stitched rainbow pattern. Sheer sparkly yellow ribbon embellishes the flap.

Open the flap and inside you will find a large bottom pocket embellished with a golden sparkly star. Inside the pocket is a large mat/tag. Under the flap on the base page, there is a bottom side pocket that holds a multi-fold 'Birthday Wish List'.

Page 5 is papered in birthday hats! The polka dot inter-active is removable and magnetic.

Here are the mats/tags that the magnetic moveable flap holds in place.

The huge top load mat/tag pulled part way to show. The magnetic moveable flap can be placed anywhere you'd like in the book and it holds itself in place via the covered magnets.

Pages 6 & 7 fun fun fun!

Page 6 is adorned with Happy Birthday musical paper and a side pocket with large birthday candles and glass stars for the candle light. Inside the pocket is a nice size Happy 21st mat/tag. Plenty big enough for a photo.

Page 7 is nice and bright with a rainbow of hearts. The bottom has a pocket adorned with fussy cut birthday presents with dimensional bows and a fussy cut rainbow unicorn. Inside the pocket is a booklet and mat/tag. Both will accommodate good size pictures and or journaling.

Page 8 is offering nice big bright polka dots. At the bottom left is a Happy 21st Birthday flat that tucks perfectly in behind the dimensional Big Wish element on the bottom right.

Flap opened to show all the space for photos!

Page 9 has colored numbers with the 21 matted and popped up to accent that special number! In that bottom corner pocket is 2 large mats/tags ready for photos and or journaling. A pretty yellow ribbon finishes the page.

Pages 10 & 11

Page 10 has a large bottom pocket decorated with 3 sparkly birthday candles. Inside that pocket is 2 large mats/tags with scalloped pulls. A bright red ribbon pops on the page to the left.

Nice large tags/mats for those full size photos

Page 11 has my all time favorite waterfall feature! So much space in such a small area!

The super large top load mat/tag pulled part way

Page 12 and the inside back cover.

Bright and colorful is what this page screams! A top flap with large birthday candles covers the bottom side pocket.

Lift the polka dot flap and the pocket shows what it holds...2 colorful rainbow mats/tags.

The pretty colorful mats/tags

The embellishments on that bottom pocket are a sparkly birthday candle and a metal unicorn.

The inside back cover, right spine and magnetic flap

On the inside back cover there is a pretty silver metal unicorn charm set off with a sweet red ribbon bow.

The inside right spine has a bottom pocket all tied up with a white ribbon and holding a mat/tag also carrying a white ribbon accent.

Inside the magnetic flap sparkly golden stars and the sentiment claiming "I'm a STAR"!  I wanted to carry that theme throughout as well since she loves stars.

I think this album met all the requirements that was asked for and although it's bright and colorful, I think it serves quite well for a 21 year old young lady. All her favorite things are included and should serve her nicely. I hope this will become a keepsake she can keep and cherish over the years to come, what fun to refer back to it as time rolls on.

Thanks for taking time to view this creation, I appreciate it. Feel free to comment as I read them all and reply to all. If I can do anything special for you, please don't hesitate to ask for details.
