Baby Girl Album (special order)

Yes! It's another Baby Girl Album for an order, they have been a huge hit! I'm so thrilled everyone loves them so much, as I truly do enjoy making them. I make sure every album is 'special and different', so yes, I'll continue to do Baby Girl Albums as long as I continue to get orders for them. Ok, let's get on with the pictures and details:

This is the cover. This album has the magnetic flap closure and the twist on this album is the mounting of the word 'BABY'. I matted the glittered letters 3 times, then adhered them to old hat pins that have a pearl on them. The belly band across the rounded mats is adorned with flowers made from some of the various papers used within the album. Colored tiny brads were used as centers and they were then set onto some transparent ribbon. There is a tiny little baby face peeking out from the belly band....see her

A close up of the mounting of the letters and the embellishments...of course you can now see the tiny little face peering over the band.

On the side, I used 4 different ribbons to finish the spine.

Inside the front cover and the first page. On the left, there is a metal embellishment of tiny hands. There is a bottom side pocket that holds 2 good sized tags/mats and a small flip booklet that is held closed by a sweet little pink ribbon. The little booklet slides right over the pocket and is a perfect place to write notes and journal. Page 1 is papered in adorable elephants. The gatefold page is held closed by the magnetized heart.

These are the tags/mats and little flip booklet that reside in that pocket. The pocket is also embellished with a sweet ribbon.

Page 1 with the gatefold flaps open. Perfect area for pictures!

The large side pull tag/mat. All the pages have either a side pull mat/tag or a top pull mat/tag. There are 3 of each in this book which I alternated...side tag/mat...top tag/mat.

Pages 2 and 3. Page 2 has a long side pocket adorned with a ribbon which holds a booklet. Plenty of room to journal or add more photos. Page 3 has a sweet golden heart hanging from the bottom pocket. Inside the pocket is a large mat/tag that also holds another small flip booklet.

The booklet from the pocket....cute elephants decorate the cover.

Inside that booklet..... photos or journaling or both would work quite well.

A closer look at page 3. See the pull on the top load large mat/tag?

The cute little mat/tag and tiny booklet.

The large top load mat/tag.

Page 4 and 5. Page 4 displays 2 heart pockets that hold tags/mats. Page 5 is very inter-active.

A closer look at page 5. There is a flip booklet and on the front is a sweet tag inside the belly band.

Forgot to show you the tags/mats from those heart pockets.

The tag from the belly band on the flip booklet.

Flipping the pages in the booklet....

There are several pages to flip and at the end there is another belly band which holds another tag.

The side pull large tag/mat.

Pages 6 and 7. Page 6 is a magnetic flap that folds down. It holds nice size tags/mats securely. I fussy cut a onesie to give the flap some dimension. Page 7 is very inter-active also with many flippy flaps and tags/mats.

Here is what is hiding behind that flip down flap. 3 good size tags/mats of course with ribbon pulls. There are cute little onesies also.

A close up of the dimensional onesies.

Page 7 with one flap open to reveal a pocket and tag/mat. So much space to journal and for pictures!

Next flap flipped to reveal a big bottom pocket. Inside that pocket are 2 big tags/mats and a sweet little flip booklet.

The mats/tags and flip booklet out of their pocket.

Page 8 and 9. Page 8 has a large handmade envelope with a lace ribbon to set it off. Page 9 has a double bottom pocket with tags/mats in both. An adorable glittery 'pull ribbon' made into a frilly bow decorates the pocket.

Inside that pretty envelope is a large ribbon pull card. There is ample space to perhaps write a sweet letter or note to the baby girl for her to read later.

The tags/mats from the frilly decorated pocket.

Pages 10 and 11. Page 10 has a top flap with a neat punched edge. A ribbon is woven through some of the holes and tied. Page 11 is of course a waterfall!!!

Open that flap and there is a bottom pocket with 2 large mats/tags.

The 2 decorated mats/tags from that pocket. They are embellished with sweet little baby animals I fussy cut.

Page 11 has a waterfall! A double matted elephant lives on the top mat and a ribbon tied in a bow keeps the waterfall closed. Space for 10 photos in the waterfall.

Page 12...the back of the waterfall page, has YES! another waterfall all tied up in a pretty pink ribbon bow. 10 more photos can fit there.

The inside the back cover has a pretty punched trellis along the top of the pocket. There is a metal embellishment with tiny feet stamped on it. Inside the pocket is a pretty pink lace bound large tag/mat.

A space for a nice sized photo and on the back for journaling.

A baby hippo matted on an oval tag and adorned with a pink ribbon is located on the right spine.

I enjoyed making this album! The use of the pearl hat pins was an idea I came up with while trying to sleep the other night. hehehe so I made sure I sketched it on some scratch paper while it was fresh on my mind.  Using 2 waterfalls (a side flip waterfall and a top flip one) adds so much more space for those many baby photos. I got permission from the buyer of  this album to post photos after she received the album. I must say she absolutely loved it. It was a gift for her sister who just had a new baby girl. I love when my albums make someone happy...... it does a heart good!

I'm still hoping to get some 'Baby Boy Album' orders.... as I have some great ideas for them....but in the meantime, I will be happy to create whatever my customers want!   :-)

I appreciate all comments folks, so feel free to speak your mind.
