Design Team Project using Graphic 45's Botanical Tea Collection
Today I am sharing my newest design team projects for Country Craft Creations using the beautiful G45 Botanical Tea Collection. I have created a huge chipboard tag album measuring 5 1/2 X 10 X 2
and a Matchbook album using leftover scraps from the collection. The perfect little gift piece or brag book for your purse. Tamra has a tutorial for this little Matchbook album in the files over on the Scrapbookers of Country Craft Creations board.
Large Tag Album
Matchbook Album
The cover of this large tag album is adorned with fussy cutting from the paper collection to add 3 D dimension. The butterflies are fussy cut and stand up nicely using pop dots. I used a chipboard tag with the beautiful rose on the bottom right as a 'stop' which holds some of the cut a parts from the collection. Pretty pink seam binding is threaded through the hole in the tag and sets off the tag perfectly.
On the magnetic closure flap, I have created a stationary booklet that opens and also has a cute stamp stop that holds another small matted tag made from one of the stickers in the collection. I have inked and matted everything in this project to give it even more of a vintage feel.
Opening the magnetic closure and removing all the goodies behind it..
The magnetic flap open showing the pretty striped paper on the inside of the closure.
The spine of the large tag album. I used pretty sheer pink floral ribbon that tied in perfectly with the album theme and colors.

Inside front cover and page 1. I fussy cut the butterfly and pop dotted him onto the Botanical Tea matted embellishment. I love fussy cutting and popping up he cuts to add interest and dimension. The pattern papers in this collection are beautiful and oh so feminine. I used lots of coordinating colored seam binding on the pages to add to the beauty of the design.
The booklet from the inside cover, is held in place by the top 'stop'. Open the booklet to reveal yet more spaces for photos/journaling. There are pockets on both sides that are holding 2 of the smaller cut a parts that have been inked and matted. Embellishments are matted and inked stickers from the collection.

Pages 2 & 3
Page 2. Fussy cut large rose and leaves and used the awesome pink seam binding to decorate the page. That dimensional rose is also a stop to hold the pretty small cut a part along with the ribbon. Gorgeous graphics in this collection!

Page 3. This page has a chipboard bellyband that has been inked, matted and embellished. All the pages are chipboard so why not use a piece to create the bellyband. I guarantee it is very strong and will hold anything you want to put behind it. I punched a multi petal flower from the collection and inked it adding dimension to that bellyband. Behind it, are 2 cut a part matted and inked booklets.
The cute little booklets out of their bellyband. Pink seam binding was used behind the dimensional flower.

Pages 4 & 5 check out the fabulous graphics!
Page 4. I love this......I used stamps cut from the collection, inked and matted and popped to draw the eye. I also used pretty coordinating blue seam binding and a large cut a part that is double sided and needs NO matting. A magnetic flap that has been decoratively cut and the seam binding hold the large cut a part in place nicely.
Open the magnetic flap to reveal the large pretty cut a part
Isn't that a beautiful cut a part!
Page 5. More of that pretty blue pattern paper. This page offers 2 magnetic flaps that hold a large pretty cut a part. A cool multi petal flower cut from pattern paper in the collection decorates the top magnetic flap. On the bottom flap I have ink and matted cool floral stamps and popped them up to add interest. Pretty blue seam binding finishes the page.
Open the magnetic closures and the pretty large cut a part can be accessed.
Pages 6 & 7
Page 6. Fussy cutting for sure on this page! The nest and flowers are fussy cut and also serve to hold a matted cut a part booklet. The bird and flower is fussy cut also...these cuts are popped up and add so much to the page. Green seam binding brings out the greens in the pattern paper.
The booklet shown open to show it also has a stop inside to hold another photo or journaling
Page 7. This page has another of the chipboard bellybands that has been covered, inked and decorated. It holds a large pretty cut a part securely. The bellyband has a matted and inked stamp with some of the beige seam binding behind and the stamp is popped up. On the other side are 2 sticker tickets that have been inked and matted and used for embellishments. Below are 3 pretty stamps inked and matted and popped to draw the eye.

Pages 8 & Inside back cover
Page 8. Again, notice the pretty pattern paper.... wowza! This page has a chipboard tag that has been inked and cream seam binding threaded through for the tag pull. The tag acts as a bottom 'stop' to hold the 2 big pretty cut a parts as does the pretty cream seam binding across the bottom part.

Inside back cover, I created a pocket that holds a large cut a part and 2 small cut a part booklets. They have been inked and matted and are perfect for pics or journaling. 3 of the pretty floral stamps have been inked and matted and of course popped up for dimension. The bottom pocket has been decorated using one of the larger stickers from the collection.
The booklets from the pocket and the pretty large cut a part still in the pocket.
The Matchbook Album
This is the Matchbook Album that Tamra showed in the tutorial last night over on Authentique. Such a pretty, fast, easy to do project, and since I had scraps of this beautiful collection left over, I thought how perfect it would be to create one. On the cover I have used one of the stickers that I inked and matted in the scallop circle and popped it up. There is also 3 stamps that have the awesome birds on them that I cut, inked and matted and of course popped up for effect. I made sure to position them far enough up so the flap tucks in properly just like a matchbook! I used the Tim Holz stapler and staples to secure the bottom portion of the matchbook and it worked out perfectly without worry of the glue riding up to far. Looks just like a real matchbook!
A closer view of the matchbook cover
The inside of the matchbook album. The inside cover I have cut, inked and matted a strip of 3 stamps that serve as a bottom 'stop'. Inside the stop is a nice size pretty matted and inked tag that will hold a nice size photo. Check out the cool patterns I chose to decorate the pages! Love them! the bottom closure piece is in the coordinating polka dot paper with the Celebration sticker applied. You can see the staples on it that even replicates actual matchbooks! Love it!
