Girlfriends Beach Album (order)

This is the other album I was referring to that completes the order for 2  8x8 special order albums. This was a fun album to do, with lots of inter-actives and lots of beach-y colors. She received them today and was quite pleased I am happy to say, which always makes me very very happy!! This album went along with the Girlfriends Birthday Album, as they were both ordered by the same person.

The cover of this album is decked out in an aqua color along with a vibrant aqua ribbon. The 'Beach FUN' is in a 'sandy' sparkly color which stands out nicely against the blue. Of course there is a dimensional starfish and pocket that holds 3 good sized mats/tags. Those are also embellished. The magnetic closure flap has the same palm tree paper that lines up with that on the main cover.

The mats/tags from the front pocket. You can also see some aqua bling on the front cover.

A closer look at the decorative beach clips on each of the mats/tags. Various style ribbons adorn the mats/tags

Closure flap opened reveals the full front cover and the inside of the right spine.

The spine is decorated with more of the aqua ribbons and trims AND a fully blinged out octopus!

A closer look at that little cutie!

Right spine has a nice sparkly seashell.

Album opened

Inside front cover and Page 1. Inside front cover I put a handmade envelope with a card inside. The aqua 'ribbon' is actually elastic so it doesn't need to be untied to access the card. Just lift the flap and voila!

The envelope opened and card exposed. A super place to write a special note to the recipient where it can be tucked back in the envelope and remain private.

Page 1. Fun, fun, fun! Inter-actives here.

Top flap opened to expose a large mat/tag

Mat taken out to show the beautiful base paper. Awesome colorful beach chairs right on the beach.

Side load very large mats in every page. This one pulled part way out to show. All have a matching 'pull'.

Pages 2 & 3.

Page 2 is a bit of a surprise. What appears to be just a bottom pocket is actually 3 pockets which all hold nice big mats/tags! It is decorated with a white ribbon and dimensional sand dollar

These are the mats/tags from that surprise triple file/pocket. Seashell papers finish them nicely.

Close up of the sand dollar

Page 3 is very inter-active also. The top flap is papered in seahorses

Open the flap and you have a seahorse pocket

Large mat/tag from the seahorse pocket with a coordinating ribbon pull

Flip that pocket page and there is another one. Inside this one is a booklet to hold more photos and or journaling. Coral ribbon adorns the pocket

Good sized booklet from that pocket

Side pull large mat shown part way out

Pages 4 & 5. Is that a big fat sun? Why yes, it is!

The large sun complete with sunshine rays, magnetically holds 2 very large mats/tags

Fold down the sunshine, and the mats/tags are ready for photos

Very nice size mats/tags

Page 5 has a bottom corner pocket that is embellished with dimensional elements. It holds 2 very good sized mats/tags

The mats/tags

The large side pull mat with matching pull

Pages 6 & 7 again, are inter-active. Isn't that half the fun of the custom mini albums?!

Page 6 has 2 flaps which are both embellished in beach elements. These flaps open in the opposite direction and hide what's underneath.

Both flaps opened and there is a very large booklet

Inside the booklet. So much space to journal here

Page 7. These papers I thought were so pretty! Lots going on here

Inside that pretty side pocket there are 2 booklets! Pictures and or journaling here for sure!

Isn't that a pretty paper?! Love that one

Booklets back in place and the giant side pull mat out for show

Pages 8 & 9.

Page 8 has a stationary booklet on that page!

More of the pages in that stationary booklet

You can't lose this booklet since it's attached to the base page. A sparkly seashell adorns the base page.

Page 9 is fun! There are 2 wave pockets on the bottom and both hold goodies! Pretty sheer blue ribbon and a sparkly RELAX embellish the pockets.

From the back wave pocket there is a large mat/tag and booklet

The front wave pocket holds 3 cute little tags

Base page without the mats/tags... so relaxing for sure! I added the seagull coming in for a landing

Everything back in place and the large side pull mat exposed

Pages 10 & 11.

Page 10 has 2 handmade envelopes that are stationary and held closed by seashells. There's a sparkly crab living in the bottom corner of the page.

The envelopes opened to show they house beachy cards that private notes or thoughts can be written upon and stored privately back in their envelopes.

Page 11, doesn't this page jump out at ya'? The bottom corner pocket holds several things and the top of the pocket is a flap with a ribbon and seahorse.

Not a very good picture of the cute little seahorse (sorry for the picture quality on is one)...it is a cool charm though I promise.

Inside that pocket is a booklet embellished with a pretty sheer ribbon and 3 mats/tags

The mats/tags replaced and the giant mat pulled out part way to show

Page 12 and the inside back cover.

My very favorite waterfall! 11 photos can be placed here and kept safely all tied up in the pretty sheer ribbon.

The inside of the right spine has a pocket which also holds a nice long mat/tag. See the cute sparkly crab living there?

I hope you enjoy this one, it was actually 'relaxing' to make. hehehe I love creating one of a kind albums, it's not only a challenge, but it's quite rewarding when the customer loves them as much as I do.
