Design Team Project Never Ending Card & Envelope

 

This was a fun project to complete for Country Craft Creations using Authentique's Always Collection. I've created an envelope and a Never Ending Card that is a nice size and fits perfectly inside. On the outside of this envelope, I have adhered a see through envelope that could be used to hold a wedding invitation or anything you desire....perhaps a cool picture. 'Love' is on the outside of that clear envelope on top. I added a metal key with black seam binding to add interest and finish the embellishment on the outside front of the envelope.

On the backside of the envelope, I used one of the cool small cut a parts that I matted and inked and also I used some Glossy Accents to build up the closure piece. I added some glitter while it was still wet and loved how it dried with a cool glassy effect. I applied this piece to the back and used it as a nice decorative closure that the flap slides behind easily.

This is the never ending card out of the envelope. Love this paper! I have used some of the cut a parts as well as some of the stickers from the collection that have been matted and inked. Such an easy collection that flows nicely. Watch as the card is opened....and opened...and opened....and.....well you get the idea, it never ends.

 

 

and.....back to the beginning! What a fun fun card and this collection worked out perfectly for it. The overall size is 6 1/4 X 6.

Authentique Always Accordion Album & Momento Box w/Drawer

Accordion Album & Momento Box w/Drawer using Authentique's Always Collection

 

This Design Team Project was a pleasure to do for Country Craft Creations, especially since I got to use the Authentique Always Collection. This wedding collection was a brilliant creation as they kept it low key using only a few color tones...... genius, as ANY accent color would go perfectly! I wanted to showcase this collection as is rather than bring in any other colors so you could see the perfection in this collection. I have created a sweet Accordion Album permanently attached to a Momento Box with a Drawer. What a perfect compliment to each other...... a roomy album with lots of additions and a momento box that will hold lots of memories from that special day.

This sturdy handmade momento box is quite roomy and is decorated both inside and out. Inside there are some sweet embellishments to set off the theme. The drawer is easily opened using the metal pull. Such fun paper designs in this collection makes it easy to work with and flows effortlessly. I have based the box and album with a textured cream colored cardstock and inked it all with a sepia color.

The box is decorated completely with the beautiful pattern papers from the collection.

The bottom of the box has wooden feet that I've colored black and added jewels to dress them up a bit further. My 'handmade' stamp is on the bottom as I normally add it to my work....(when I remember that is..hehehe).

Opening the album, the inside front cover has a large pocket that is embellished with a cut a part that has been matted and inked. The pocket will hold several pics or cards.... I have included 2 matted cut a parts that make perfect photo mats. They have colored seam bindings for pulls. The next page again is papered in the beautiful patterned paper from the collection and has a stop at the top left of the page made from one of the smaller cut a parts matted and inked. The large cool cut a part is a perfect photo mat.

Opening the accordion album shows just how much this album has to offer. So much space for photos and journaling are in this album and being fixed firmly on the momento box, what a perfect place to store even more momentos or wedding cards.

Turning the album and opening it from the opposite side reveals even more space making this a perfect place for many many photos.
